Well hey, I'm blimple. I live in Edinburgh and go to the University of. I'm majoring in Philosophy but my dream is to go to art college and study painting. I spend most of my time smoking and hanging around with my friends, but i like to paint portraits, write poems, read popular fiction and generally behave like a bohemian.

Life is pretty good. Being here is turing out to be one of the best experiences of my life - long may it continue. It's so wonderful to be around intelligent people talking about academic subjects with passion and intensity. Thus this journal is here as a place to lay out my thoughts and poems and stories and help me to make sense of everything going on around me. I hope by reading it you find it enlightening or somehow helpful in understanding who i am and what I am about.

Also, one last quote - "It is potentially foolhardy to predict the future, even on the Orwellian internet that allows you to rewrite history as fast as you can type."
